I'm a mountaineer, skier, climber, photographer that pays for my expensive lifestyle by being a seismic engineer and sometimes a web programmer/manager.

Goals

I'm currently working on 2 major projects: Ski all the 14ers, and summit all the ranked 13ers in Colorado. As of the end of the 2017 ski mountaineering season, I have 52/58 14ers skied. Anticipating finishing in 2019 or 2020 (highly dependent on the safe skiing of the two hardest peaks: Pyramid and Capitol). As of the start of summer 2018, my 13er list stands at 363/584. This project should last another 4-5 years. With 250 13ers in the San Juans, plenty of long drives/weekends will have to occur to complete this project.

The website

I created the site as a repository for the adventures and trips that I do as a normal part of my life. I'm also an amateur photographer, so I need to organize all the photos I take, otherwise they would sit in purgatory on a computer hidden somewhere.

Many of my pre website (9/2009) trips and photos are still unorganized or otherwise non-digital. Slowly I will continue adding in these gems of my past
